Nadia Daghistani (she/her) is the Senior Manager of Major Giving at the American Association of University Women (AAUW), a nonprofit founded in 1881 dedicated to advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.

Nadia's journey is a testament to her unyielding dedication to creating meaningful change. After graduating from the University of St Andrews with a degree in Sustainable Development, she founded Rootless Garden, a London-based social enterprise that addressed loneliness among older individuals through nature-inspired activities promoting mental and physical well-being. Upon relocating to the US, Nadia worked closely with adults dealing with traumatic brain injuries, launching BeechTree, a bath and body works enterprise aimed at providing a path to competitive employment for residents of Beechwood Neurorehab.

Nadia's passion for making a positive impact led her to her role as Assistant Director of Development for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at George Mason University, where she first became involved with the Center. Today, she remains an active volunteer on the events committee, aligning her dedication with the Center for Community Mental Health's mission to provide accessible mental health support and enhance community well-being. Her unwavering commitment to advancing mental health and fostering a stronger community continues to drive her engagement with CCMH.

Currently residing in Alexandria with her husband and toddler, Nadia savors moments of camping and exploration in the region.
