Carla Post is the Senior Manager of Sustainability and ESG Reporting for Leidos where she leads the integration of social and environmental considerations into core strategic decisions. Driven by a strong passion for improving the state of our societies and consciousness, she is an advocate for ensuring businesses have a positive impact.
Carla co-leads the Sustainability Working Group (SWG), a cross-functional team tasked with overseeing ESG programs and enhancing ESG practices throughout the enterprise. The group's mission is to foster responsible and sustainable growth across all facets of the organization. Her efforts have resulted in Leidos being ranked on Newsweek’s Most Responsible Companies 2021, #38 in the Newsweek Green rankings, the #1 greenest company in the Information & Technology category and increasing corporate CDP scores in Climate Change and Supplier Engagement. She is the lead author and developer of the Annual Sustainability Report, ensuring the regular production and publication of ESG reports in adherence to regulatory frameworks. She is a major contributor to the Ethisphere submittal, which has resulted in Leidos being awarded one of the most ethical companies for the past six years.
Instrumental in enhancing transparency, Carla led the procurement and implementation of an enterprise Sustainability software. This software not only provides transparency to consumers, investors, and stakeholders but also enables impactful reduction measures, facilitates the achievement of sustainability goals, and reinforces Leidos' commitment to responsible business practices. She actively promotes environmental awareness among employees and initiates educational programs to enhance workplace behaviors aimed at making sustainability a part of everyone’s job.
Carla also manages and serves as the liaison between Leidos and The Women’s Center, an organization that provides mental health counseling, support, and education to the metropolitan area to help people live healthy, stable, and productive lives; Everfi, an organization that provides digital mental health support to students; The George Mason Center for Community Mental Health and Sweet Farm, a non-profit addressing the global impacts on the food supply chain and the resulting shortages in our communities.
Carla is not only a professional leader but also a mentor within the Leidos Young Professional Network NoVA Chapter. She actively participates in multiple Employee Resource Groups, including the Leidos Women’s Network, where she played a key role in fostering collaboration and promoting diversity.
In her community, Carla serves on the Fairfax County Commission for Women and Girls, representing the Dranesville District. Her advocacy extends to the McLean Community Center, where she previously served as an elected Board Member, championing sustainability, community education, diversity, and inclusion. As a volunteer for Virginia Democracy Forward, Carla dedicates her efforts to supporting candidates advocating for women’s issues, sustainability, and climate action in both local and national arenas.
