Join us on Zoom to learn about requirements, what to prepare, and available resources to help with application processes with Meghan Walter, Director, International Admissions Office, GMU

This event will be followed by a FREE group zoom session is open to teens and young adults (16 to 21 years old) who have recently arrived in the United States from Afghanistan.

Please note that this is not a therapy group but a support group that will provide a safe space for social interaction, community resources, and cultural exchange.

Purpose of the group:

• To CONNECT you with other teenagers and young adults who have experienced similar challenges so that you can support each other
• To EXCHANGE resources and ideas
• to ENGAGE in activities (e.g. seminars) that will help you navigate American culture and the education system
