Impact of your gift

The Center firmly believes mental health services should be available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We also believe individuals and families should have access to help when they need it. This mission drives us every day. By training the next generation of behavioral health providers to give back to the community, we have a win-win.  Our goal is to increase our reach and availability of services, whether it is therapy, testing, consultation or community outreach.  Your gifts of support make this possible.

It is because of supporters like you, who share their resources to make a difference in the lives of others, that we are able to strengthen our service to the community.

Support critical mental health services today.

We want to reach anyone who is in need; our services, from our Emotional Support Line and short term skills based therapy intervention, to traditional therapy are supported through donations to our Center for Community Mental Health fund. The lines in English and Spanish are anonymous and confidential, allowing anyone in the community to reach out for support. The short term intervention has NO wait list due to grants and donations. You can learn more about this program on our services page

The Jennifer DiMauro Honor Fund for Veterans supports free assessments and therapy for veterans. This fund was created in memory of Jennifer DiMauro, a graduate student whose work at the center focused on helping veterans through assessments and therapy. Gifts to this fund allow the center to continue offering no-cost services to veterans.

The Justine M. Pelham fund For Students Supporting Veterans provides operational support to expand training opportunities at the center for trainees interested in providing specialized mental health care for veterans. This fund is established in memory of Justine M. Pelham, an employee of the Legal Services of Northern Virginia, whose devotion to serving veterans was an inspiration to those who knew her.  Gifts to this fund allow CCMH to continue training the next generation of behavioral health care providers to provide specialized services to veterans.

Your gift of any amount will go to work immediately to make a difference for individuals, families, and our community.
